Tampa Port Embarktation time???-Help.

Need some help... My Carnival cruise papers say embarkation can begin at 12:30 at the Tampa Port. I see where say you can board earlier than that. Would some of you very experienced cruisers let me know what is the earliest I can be at the port and still board? I will have my older parents with me and don't want them to have to wait for hours. We are on the Carnival Legend and have a our fun pass completed.Thanks to all!

I'd show up between 1130 and 1200 - you should be quickly process and on the ship for lunch and a DoD. Good luck!:mad:
