Jewel of the Seas Room ?

Recommended Posts

I just booked the fov room 7004 on the JOS. Has anyone stayed in this room. I thought it would be good because it was big, but now I'm reading that you really feel the movement more. I don't get seasick, but i've anever been right up front before either. There are 3 of us going. Should I keep this room or try to change it. Thank-you for any suggestions or info on this room you can give.:o

I don't get sick either (knock wood!) but you will get more felt motion in cabin 7004 than in one closer towards the "hump" . We were in a very forward balcony cabin on deck 10 on the Carnival Victory (which is larger than the Jewel) and felt a lot of motion the entire cruise. Last year we were in cabin 1570 (aft of the hump) on the Jewel and felt very little motion except for 1 evening. If motion could be a concern, you may want to consider booking something closer to the "hump" although there won't be anything as large as the FOV unless you go to a JS or larger. The FOV is a good value for the size.
