Dolphin swin grand cayman

Can anyone tell me how the dolphin encounter in Grand Cayman is and how it compares to Mexico. Cruising on the Carnival Liberty and have a choice to go to Grand Cayman dolphin swin or Mexico.

I've been told the water can be dirty as well!!!!!! Not sure if I believe this as it wouldn't be healthy for the dolphins. Look forward to hear what you all have to say!!!

Thanks

We are going to GC and want to do the stingray (loved it before!) but also want to do the dolphin (maybe combined thru the ship's excursion?). I don't know how the dolphin experience is in GC? Would be interested in hearing your thoughts!!

However - I CAN comment on Mexico... If you go to Cozumel's Chakanaub Park - the water is CRYSTAL CLEAR BLUE!! They are GREAT with taking care of their dolphins and I was super impressed when DD did this 3 years ago.

I would go back there for sure (taking newbies on this cruise who want to do the dolphin experience) - BUT, the Mayan ruins are also on the "to-do" list, so we figured we could do both stingray/dolphin in GC and the Mayan ruins in Cozumel.
