7nucruzers Posted July 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2010 What is the thing about using clothespins for the shower curtains??? We leave on CB next Saturday - would love to know!
Toto2Kansas Posted July 31, 2010 #2 Share Posted July 31, 2010 Place them at the bottom of the shower curtain, it will help to keep it in place so it is not as 'friendly'. Enjoy your cruise!
Cruisers from WA Posted July 31, 2010 #3 Share Posted July 31, 2010 The clothes pins weight down the shower curtain so it does not becoming "intimate" with you. Clothes pins are also handy if you have a balcony or outside cabin to keep the drapes from gaping open, placing sunlight right in your eyes while sleeping. I also use them to hang my swimsuit on the clothesline (retractable string) in the shower.
Whimsy Posted July 31, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 31, 2010 I have started packing about 6 or so when we travel. They come in handy quite often.
kimgoblue Posted August 2, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 2, 2010 I attched four clothespins (the spring loaded kind, alhough maybe that doesn't matter) to the bottom of our shower curtain on our 7/20 CB sailing. It kept the shower curtain where it belonged at the edge of the shower and not on me.
patl95 Posted August 2, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 2, 2010 I've added clothes pins to my pre-cruise shopping list! This is a great idea - it has always annoyed me when the curtain would move into my personal space :D

This was one thing we forgot, it would have come in handy for the pesky shower curtains. :D Fortunately no problems with balcony curtains since they now have overlapping ones.
