If you were going on the Conquest & wanted to spend one day laying in the sun digging your toes into the sand, which island would you do it on. Am going with my husband, a 16 yr & a 19yr old. Want somthing for the kids to do & at the same time I want to relax, have a great view, some food, a drink,(don't like to drink much in the sun), & be a little pampered. The ports are Monte go bay, cozmel, & grand cayman.

Any of the islands would work. In MB do Sunset Beach Resort - $20. for all the food and drink plus things to do. In GC do the public beach - $4 each to take the taxi. They have a bath house, rentals, a snack bar, pavillions, etc.... In Cozumel do any of the beaches - but Paradise Beach must be what you're looking for as they have water toys for the kids for just $5. for a waistband. Check out the ports of call threads.

We just returned from the Conquest. You have gotten good answers. Sunset Beach Resort in Montgego Bay is a $5.00, three minute cab ride from the ship and makes a great day at the Beach.....including a nude beach if that's your fancy. Three pools. All food and drinks are included all day long. Paradise Beach in Cozumel is also a great day trip.....easy and inexpensive.

We bought NO shore excursions on this cruise and don't feel that we missed much because we were just looking for some warm sun and good beaches. Worked out fine.
