Wow.wow.wow! What outstanding reviews for the Epic. I've recently decided to bite the bullet and sail for the first time and Epic is my choice. Eastern Caribbean, December 2012. I'm going solo!

Mike, I was just scrolling through your pics and noticed a few things.

 

A. We had a balcony cabin with the bed by the door and loved it. I noticed yours had the bed closer to the cabin door. On our 1/4/14 cruise the only large balcony left was with a set up like yours. Did you still have a good view outside from the bed? Did it feel smaller?

 

B. I sat in the exact same seat at the noodle bar. LOL.

 

C. What happened to the casino by the pool? It wasn't there on our cruise.

If you look on the deck plan, there is a inner curve where the bed will be.

Hi I've joined cc after years of lurking to be able to thank you and a few others for your wonderful reviews. To date we have only cruised with royal caribbean but having read your review and mega cruisers we are now booked on the epic October 2016 from Barcelona. We live in the u.k and hubby doesn't like to fly so we are taking the train from london to Barcelona via Paris.
