whitelilly Posted August 1, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2010 Dh and I (50's) will be cruising to Roatan for a day in Aug. We are looking for a nice quite beach. We don't need drinks or activities, just chairs and umbrella. Any suggestions?

watchdiva Posted August 2, 2010 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2010 For a quiet beach day, we head up to Camp Bay Adventure Lodge where there are loungers, shade and a great little snorkeling area. You will want to hire a taxi to get there (depending upon where you're docked the ride is anywhere from 60-90 minutes) but is so worth it. Closer in would be Parrot Tree Plantation (man-made lagoon, decent snorkeling outside of the lagoon, chairs, shade and palapa bar). We snorkel there every few weeks - it's a great relaxing, quiet place to be.
BabySis Posted August 2, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2010 Thanks, watchdiva, that is where we're headed in November.... we weren't sure how to get there, so pleased to know a taxi will make the trip. We thought Victor Bodden might arrange transportation for us, but he says no. Dinah
