Gibraltar on a Sunday- town or dolphins?

Recommended Posts

Hi- last time we called at Gib we did a ship's tour of the rock, including the monkeys, europa point and St Michael's caves, so now trying to decide what to do on our stop there next month.

OH can't do cable cars- and I'm not keen on tunnels!

It's not a long stop, and we will probably be happy to just stretch our legs and amble around town, but will there be much open on a Sunday? If most shops are closed on Sundays, our other thought was the dolphin watching boat trip- but I haven't found any reviews of this at all.

Thanks for any help,

kate

It's been awhile since I was there, but I would guess many,if not most, shops will be open. The walk across the airport runway may be your only chance to walk across a working International airport.:):D
