riddle Posted August 5, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2010 We are planning a 7 day cruise to Alaska during the last week of July 2011. Since my work constraints are very tight this is the only time that is feasible. Please help me with pros/cons on which NCL ship/itinerary to take. Much appreciated!:D
STARFISH*4 Posted August 5, 2010 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2010 i have been to Alaska..not on NCL and not to Glacier Bay...thats why my vote would be the PEARL because it goes to Glacier Bay--not going back to Alaska unless i get to see Glacier Bay-hopefully 2012:)

Glacier Bay is a must and the Pearl is a nice ship! I hope to do it again soon!
Budget Queen Posted August 5, 2010 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2010 Head over to the Alaska board. Many factors to consider, include, ports, time in ports, glacier, route. Of the two NCL itineraries, the Pearl has Glacier Bay, which is a highlight. However, the Star- sails inside Vancouver Island north, which also is a big highlight, and they have the add on option- which in my opinion is "necessary"- for a Tracy Arm boat tour. Both would give you a great trip.
