Crossing the Pacific

We have booked the Pacific segment of the Saga Ruby world cruise next March.

Departing from Sydney March 4th calling at a number of New Zealand ports and then Samoa, Fiji, Fanning Island, hawaii, arriving in Los Angeles April 1st.

We have sailed on Saga Ruby before and always enjoyed the experience, but I wonder whether we have chosen the right area of the world to cruise in March.

Any comments would be welcome.
