Early Oceania Ground Transfer in Stockholm

We're on Oceania's Scandinavian Splendors 9/2/10, and are using Oceania's air and also ground transfer from the airport to the Regatta. After an all night direct flight, we arrive in Stockholm at 7:45 am. Does anybody know if Oceania will transport us directly to the ship without a long wait? How long will we have to wait before boarding?

Thanks.

This is one of those situations where it sounds like you will have tons more time than you do, even if your flight gets to Stockholm exactly on time.

After you deplane (figure 30 minutes) it will be 8:15, then you'll have to claim your luggage (1 to 1.5 hours), now it is 9:45.

Another 45 minutes to get to (and go through) customs makes it 10:30 before you even get out to the Busses.

It would be odd if the bus was loaded with 45 passengers AND their luggage in less than an hour, so now it is 11:30.

From the Airport to the Frihamnen Cruise Terminal will take another 45 minutes, to an hour depending on traffic, so you should first see the ship between 12:15 and 12:30PM.

The good news is that by the time you give your luggage to a porter, and register, you will likely be walking directly onto the ship (regardless of what type of accomodations you booked), and can go up to the Terrace Cafe for a bite to eat.

The cabins are almost always ready for the new guests by 2:00 PM, so you may not even have finished your luncheon when you get the all clear.

It sounds like an exhausting day, and it is, but that is one of the reasons why the ship overnights in Stockholm. ;)

Have a marvelous trip.
