What does "Gratuities Paid " actally mean

Recommended Posts

When your travel agency states that gratuities are prepaid, does that amount show up on your bill as paid?should you check for double billing? What do you do the last night at sea with the envelopes? Thanks for your replies.

My invoice from the TA showed my prepaid gratuities as "prepaid" (and I would request some kind of invoice that shows them as being paid). You will get vouchers the last night to give to your waiters and steward but you don't have to give them out; they will know you have prepaid. If you want to give extra just put it in the envelope with the voucher.
