We are thinking of booking a curise on the Spirit for next summer. We have sailed on RCCL before but never NCL. What deposit amount does NCL require when the initial booling is done?

Actually, the deposit can vary depending on the length of the cruise, the type of cabin, etc. You can find all the picayune details here. You'll need to scroll down a little to find it. This table also shows you when your final payment is due.

 

The short story is that most people staying in non-suite rooms can generally expect to see $250pp for a typical 7-day cruise and $400pp for the longer cruises.

Thanks for the information. I am a little nervous trying a new line but we are going to be able to get a balcony room for what an interior would cost on RCCL plus we really like the port selection.
