OT2Be2004 Posted August 8, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 8, 2010 We are cruising on the Pride on 9/19 and will be staying the night before in a hotel. What time should we get to port? We cruised 2 years ago and I don't remember the time frame. Also we are scheduled to have dinner at 6, and the ship isn't leaving til 5....when do they do the muster drill? And is it true you no longer have to wear your life vest for it?

Muster is done right before and sometimes during sailaway and you no longer wear or bring life preservers with you. You'll make your dinner time with no problem. eas2225 Posted August 9, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 9, 2010 We'll also be on that cruise, coming from the Philadelphia area. Our transportation is picking us up at 11:AM. It's probably about a 2 hour ride si we'll probably get there around 1, hopefully by then the early crowd will have already gone onboard. There's a somewhat small rollcall if you'd like to check it out. Eileen
mcfam5 Posted August 9, 2010 #6 Share Posted August 9, 2010 We did not have to wear our life jackets in April and that was the first time for us that was the case.
golfadj Posted August 9, 2010 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2010 I would get there at 11 as we like to get on early. No more lifejackets at muster station.
