Not so sure this is a secret....

 

Each time I've sailed on Carnival I have always been upgraded. Booked an inside 4A & upgraded to Cat 11 (Suite) on the Destiny. Also booked 4A & went to a Balconey. Usually always book inside & do get an outside.....Not sure why but it's been great!

 

A few years ago, I sent a letter for an outstanding waiter. Within a month I received a letter from CCL thanking me for taking the time to write in & giving this person a wonderful review! They insured me that the waiter would recieve a copy of my letter. It also state that the next cruise that I take with CCL to call 40 days prior to sailing & they would upgrade me. I did that twice. It works! So if you feel that someone went out of there way to make your experience outstanding give it a try. Like I said I have no idea if they still do this.....Any others out there know?

 

All in all I've always had a wonderful experience on CCL....even though I do travel on RCCL & Princess.....I'll return to CCL someday!
