We are hoping to take the Circumvesuviana train to Pompei and back to naples and back to the port. What is the tram/where is the tram taht we can take to the train station as opposed to walking all that way to the Circumvesuvian train in the heat? thanks in advance

The tram (#1) runs down the middle of the main street that goes along the waterfront in front of the cruise port. We had planned to use it last summer but had to scramble and figure out a different plan when we got there, with two wheelchairs, and saw how narrow the platform is. It is in the middle of the two lanes of traffic and didn't appear wide enough for the wheelchairs, so we walked a couple of blocks north to Via Medina and jumped on a bus instead.
