FLL hotel with day rate for late air departure?

We are looking for a hotel with a day rate, that has a pool, and preferrably a bar and restaurant, where we can spend the day we get off our cruise. Our flight isn't till 4 pm and there will be 8 of us, so we are willing to do 2 rooms. Shuttle from port to hotel and hotel to airport would be nice, but not necessary. Any suggestions?

We tried Embassy Suites, where we are staying pre cruise, but they won't guarantee us a room until 3pm, and it has to be pre paid... HELP, PLEASE!

You can make calls to these hotels and check availibility. All depends on their vacancy the day you need it. I would only get one room as no one will be sleeping. Just a place to hang out and change, right?

Thanks for the link, EandJ. I would love to do just one room, but there are 8 of us who will have all our luggage, be changing clothes, etc, and we're not family <G>...
