peggisue Posted February 11, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2005 Traveling on the Triumph in April -- I believe there are hairdryers in every room -- but are they "good" hairdryers or "whimpy"? Do I need to pack one of my own?
pungo3 Posted February 11, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2005 I have not cruised on the Triumph but I have cruised on several other Carnival ships. The hairdryer is not great. However, I like to pack light so I use it. I have waist length hair and have no problem using the hairdryer provided. Just remember, it's about 1/2 as powerful as the one I have it home so it takes about twice as long. Most days, I didn't bother drying and really used the dryer only for formal nights. CB&T Posted February 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2005 If you have room, pack it. They are very wimpy. I have a pixie cut and brought my own, and happy I did. I didn't waste valuable cruise time drying my hair.

StacyandTim Posted February 11, 2005 #5 Share Posted February 11, 2005 I always bring my own because even traveling to different hotel rooms, the wall-mounted hair dryer is never powerful enough....Especially when my hair doesn't take too well to humidity, I need my powerful dryer to blow it straight, so it stays straight!
