We sailed on the Jewel and took home made boxes of fudge for the captain and bridge staff and also had some with us we left as gifts for those who were especially great to us. This was a December cruise We also took clothes and games for an orphanage and visited and spent time with the kids in Belize. So great spending time with them. Linda I think Coka will win this thread, but one thing which is a little worrisome about bringing food for the captain is that a) food is not in short supply onboard, and b) the risk of contamination (intentional OR unintentional) is too risky for the captain and top officers to take collectively. Unless you're personal friends with them, chances are the fudge ended up in the garbage..... not trying to spoil your fun, but realistically...
