Getting from the Long Beach Terminal to Disneyland

I was wondering if anyone has ever done this. Is there a shuttle that can take your directly there? I would imagine a taxi would be too much money. Or is it easier to rent a car and drive to Disneyland? Thanks for your help!

used Budget for this. They picked us up @ the pier and took us to their downtown office. We dropped the car @ LAX when we left.

Taking a taxi from Long Beach to D-land will cost you a fortune. Rent a car at the airport (the rental companies are approx. 300 feet from the exit of the airport. Without traffic (ie - weekend morning, or weekday late morning) it will take you about 20 - 30 minutes to drive to D-land. Budget was the best deal we found. Then you can return the car to the airport and take a taxi from Long Beach Int'l to the port for about $20. Or if you have time to burn, you can take public transport with one transfer, for 90 cents - it will take approx. an hour.
