I booked a cruise on the Magic for Aug 2011 at the beginning of this year, but because my passport was to expire soon, I didn't bother entering my guest info. Well, I applied for my new passport just before the prices went up (:cool:) and I just it yesterday. I wanted to complete my registration tonight to get it done. :( Oh well, my sailing on the Magic is more than a year away. I'll have time. :)

AMEN! You would think a large corporation such as Carnival would have some disaster recovery/redundancy built in.

Earlier they had the "down for maintenance" page up, which means there is a server SOMEWHERE that is hosting at least THAT page.

 

Me thinks someone was given a bit of a story... although, I get NOTHING now, so who knows......... :confused: :confused: :confused:

I checked all the webcams the other day and only half of them were working to begin with. I've been trying, unsuccessfully, since January to see a recent shot on the Liberty and those have been down since then.

That's because, yet again, Carnival has Beavis and Butthead incharge of the website...hence my post early last week. May I present Exhibit...oh, probably about "K" at this point, regarding back up servers and security measures and such.

Funny this is mentioned, I just went to the site to browse Magic's deck plans. I got to the deck plans fine, but trying to do anything with them slowed my entire computer to nearly nothing. Once I closed the website, my computer is running fine again.
