klsmom8 Posted February 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2005 What are the recreational activities on the Sensation (i.e. mini-golf, ping-pong, etc)? Do you need to pay for them? It seems like other Fantasy-class ships have fairly good recreation, but I don't see anything about the Sensation. Also, do you get the final documents (like plane passes and transport info) after you pay the final payment? We sail the Sensation on 6/18/05 to Costa Maya and Cozumel. Thanks! CruiseMark Posted February 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2005 There's no mini-golf on the Sensation. Don't remember if there was a ping pong table set up. Most of the recreation revolves around the (small) pool such as games, etc, or in the showroom where you'll find bingo (VERY expensive for what you get) and other types of activities (horse races, games, etc). Since it's an older ship, there aren't dozens of options like on the newer, larger ships, but we still had a blast. We're trying the Conquest this summer just for the improved teen facilities mainly. Go here to find a bunch more info (capers, reviews, photos, etc) http://cruiseclues.com/shipstips/sensation.htm
jeast Posted February 12, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2005 There is a ping pong table on the sensation. We had a hard time finding balls for it, though. sometimes there, sometimes not.
Rowan555 Posted February 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2005 There are two ping pong tables on Sensation - one is in REALLY bad condition. I'm planning to bring my own balls next time, as it was difficult to find balls on our last cruise.
