PattyV Posted February 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2005 We are looking for recommendations for a daysail in St Thomas in May. The Winifred is already booked for the day we will be in port so we need to find another boat. We prefer the idea of a small boat with a small number of passengers. If you have a recommendation please tell us what you liked about your daysail, the boat, and the crew. Thanks in advance.
Logie Posted February 12, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 12, 2005 If you go over to ports of call and click on St Thomas there is a few things written about other day sails. Aulant, High Pockets, Jester, Fantasy are a few more to choose from and they all carry 6 or less. Good luck!
Clubber Posted February 12, 2005 #3 Share Posted February 12, 2005 We had a great time on Heavenly Days last year. It was a day sail to St. John with lunch, a couple hours of snorkeling, and sail back. Lunch, drinks, and snorkeling equipment included. It was one of the excursions through Princess last year. I'm not sure if it is offered any more, but you can book privately. http://www.bolongobay.com/Heavenly%20Days.htm
Toto2Kansas Posted February 12, 2005 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2005 Clubber, I totally agree, we also sailed on the Heavenly Days last year. Not actually a small boat but a larger catamaran. Very nice day with swimming, open bar and lunch. We booked this through Princess also and it was worth every dime.
PattyV Posted February 12, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted February 12, 2005 Do you know how many passengers are taken on a daysail on the Heavenly Days?
Toto2Kansas Posted February 12, 2005 #6 Share Posted February 12, 2005 We had maybe 30-40, but the cat is quite large so we were never crowded at all. It had inside and outside seating. Inside with table to sit at for lunch or outside if you wanted the ocean spray. Very comfortable with a great captain!
ogtiger Posted February 12, 2005 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2005 We're booked on the Fantasy for the same experience as the Winifred. Sailing, lunch, snorkeling, open bar, etc. Holds 6 passengers. Everyone says it's great!
