Villefranche to Eze

Are there cabs in Villefranche to take you up to Eze? If so about how much is the cost and how long does it take? I assume if there are cabs to take you up there must be a stand to catch one back down later.

There were enough cabs which waited in front of the tender boat terminal.

 

It was two years ago a fixed price of 35.00 EUR.

 

Took only about 10-15 minutes.

 

But we had a problem to get a cab back and need to call and waited about 15 minutes before a car came.

Don't get a cab, the station is a two minute walk from when you leave the tender port, and the trains stop in Eze, it's very cheap and very easy to get to Eze!!

The train stops in Eze bord de Mer, not Eze Village which is at a much higher elevation. At Gare Eze you can take a bus up to Eze Village, but the bus (#83) doesn't run very frequently, so knowing the schedule ahead of time is helpful.

I am afraid you missed the best part (= the attraction) if you only get to Eze-sur-mer but not Eze-Village on an l'altitude of 2,500 m:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have not seen this you missed the best part of the Provence.
