Golden Princess-which nights are formal?

Is it possible to find this out in advance? In Skagway we're booked on a shore excursion that ends at 5:45, which conflicts with our early dinner at 5:30. Apparently, you do need to be on time for dinner so we'll have to make other arrangements for this night, which is fine. It would be helpful to know if we're going to miss one of the "smart casual" nights or one of the formal nights in order to plan how many nice clothes we have to bring.

I've never been on a cruise before and have no idea if the formal dinners are always on the same nights every time. We're leaving this Saturday, 8/21. Help!

Your formal night will be your first sea day, then either Glacier Bay or Ketchikan, it is NOT going be your Skagway day.

You can probably get this information faster on the Princess board?

Thanks! I've just started perusing this board and found the Alaka forum but di not notice the Princess one. *smacks head*
