Deposits and Refunds--Question

We're thinking of maybe booking our next cruise (on the Jewel) while on board the Dawn on our cruise in May. I know there's been discussion on whether or not you get a good price that way, etc. But what I'm wondering is this: we want to book one for 2007 (if that far ahead is allowed). If we did, and we paid the deposit ... and then watched the prices over the next year ... if for any reason we then decided to cancel, do we get the whole deposit back, and up to how close to the cruise date? I haven't been able to find that info.

Anyone know?

You can cancel and get 100% of your deposit back up until final payment is due which is 60 to 75 days out. If you book onboard then transfer it to your own TA, make sure your TA doesn't have a cancellation fee.
