Ocean Sky Hotel question

How is this hotel? anyone stay here? Is there any good family resturants in walking distance? Is there any places to buy wine before the cruise in walking distance also? We will not have a car. thanks for any information you can give me

You can buy wine at Winn-Dixie, across the street and a block south. Most of the residents in the area are adults, so there aren't really any family restaurants.

 

Withing a half mile south: For breakfast we like Julian's, and for lunch/dinner we like Grecian Taverna. 33rd & Dine is also good for dinner. Nick's has good neighborhood Italian and Pizza and has live entertainment some nights upstairs. A little further is Shooters and Chart House on the intracoastal just south of Oakland Park Blvd.

 

About a mile north is Lauderdale by the Sea...Aruba and Village Grille are good for dinner. I like Village Grille for breakfast too.
