What time is boarding for a 5 p.m. departure from Galveston?

Recommended Posts

We went on the Splendor last spring break, and we boarded at 12 noon. We went straight to our room, which was ready, and our luggage was already there. We were eating in the Windjammer at 1pm. We arrived at the port at 10:45 and was the first people to check in. Then, we had to wait until noon to board. It was really quick and smooth. Enjoy your cruise. We LOVED the Splendor!!!

Thanks for the information. It's been most useful.

We're curious for a number of reasons:

Firstly, we'll have two cruisers who are in wheelchairs, and we don't want to have to wait around for long periods of time.

Secondly, we'll have a group of young (under 8) kids with us, too. They're even less likely to enjoy a wait!

Thirdly, we'd love to get on the ship among the early boarders, since it's our first cruise. That would give us extra time to familiarize ourselves with the Splendour, and to grab a meal at lunch, too!
