ElizabethMarie Posted February 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2005 Has anyone every taken the Captain Nautica 1/2 day snorkeling trip? Is it worth the money? Is it possible to book this excursion separately from the cruise lines? If so - how? Is it cheaper? Is there anything else comparable in St. Thomas? ElizabethMarie Posted March 10, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted March 10, 2005 When is your excursion? I would love to hear what you think of Captain Nautica once you get back.
Rare CariBear Posted April 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2005 My husband and I did this excursion and it was wonderful!! We loved the speed of the boat and the locations where we stopped to snorkle (2 stops). It's a fast-paced ride through the beautiful waters. We would love to do it again, but we have a small child now and there is an age restriction. No alcohol is served, only soft drinks and water along with shrimp cocktail and fruit. Not sure if this has changed since we went. I do not think their excursion is available privately as they have a contract with the cruise ships. Sgibbs Posted May 24, 2005 #5 Share Posted May 24, 2005 We did this last summer and had a great time. Both sons loved it (age 15 and 18). They can't wait to go again this summer.
