Ladies Formal wear on Carnival Spirit

We are going on Carnival Spirit 7-14 September and I am taking 2 pairs of new black dress trousers and very nice tops for formal,

we have an extra 3 weeks in Canada and are concerned to keep our packing down for flights,

Will I be noticeably under dressed not being in a dress??:confused:

You will be find with the black pants and nice tops, you can even dress these outfits up even more, with some jewelry. Just have fun.

Carnival doesn't have 'formal' nights any more. They are called 'elegant' nights.

 

You will be dressed appropriately and will be better dressed than many.

 

I would only take one pair of dress troussers. Save weight in your packing. Also take only one pair of dressier shoes and keep your tops light and easy for packing.

I was on the Spirit the 1st of July and that is what my sister and i took. Black pants and different blouses for elegant nights. You will love the Spirit. The dress is much more relaxed that the other cruises I have been on. Have a great time.:)
