St thomas advice needed please

I really need some help please from anyone who has done the Snorkel and Sail tour to Turtle cove through Celebrity and can answer the following questions for me. My family want to go on the tour but I have some mobility issues due to artritis and need to know that I would manage the trip before we book.

1 ) How easy is it to get on and off the ships they use whilst in port, do you have to climb a ladder or do you get off and on via a ganplank etc.

I appreciate that once moored at Turtle Cove you would get on and off the boat using a ladder

2) If we booked and on the day I wanted to stay on the boat whilst everyone else was snorkeling, would that be a problem.

I would really appreciate any help you can give

Hi, I haven't done the tour through Celebrity but did a Princess one, IMO they usually use the same companies/businesses. It is never a problem to stay on the boat when taking these trips. Frequently there is someone from the group who is just along for the ride. When we did ours in St. Thomas it was docked so step on and then step down 1 or 2 steps. To snorkel you use the ladder as you predicted. Have Fun!!
