I have seen this comment several times and I am confused. Why would you book with Carnival and then transfer your booking to a TA? Why not just book with the TA to begin with???

Some people do it so a PVP can get credit for the booking, then the TA can get the commission. Its a win win if you have an established relationship with a PVP and can get a lower rate from a TA.

 

With the new rules that went into effect 8/1 doubt you will see many people doing that now, since TA really cant offer much in the way of discounts now.

TA will give the same pricing now since Carnival changed their policy, but we got a very nice onboard credit with our TA. So why book direct when the $10/day per person tips and some drinks can be paid for with an OBC.
