My DD and I will be on this cruise, we are SO EXCITED......!!!

 

This will be our FIRST River Cruise, my 12th cruise and my DD's 6th cruise.

 

I will be 55, my DD will be 18.

 

Earlier this year I received in the mail a Viking brochure and a DVD, normally I would have just chucked it into the recycling bin, but, for some reason I popped the DVD in the player and I WAS FASCINATED.......!!!

 

For quite a few months I have been back and forth about River cruising. It is VERY, VERY, VERY EXPENSIVE.....!!! :eek:

 

But, SOMETHING kept drawing me back to it. I even made a reservation on Viking a while ago but cancelled it shortly after I made it.

 

Then I received a brochure from AMA last week and well, the wheels started turning again.......

 

I started researching ALL the River cruising companies and decided on AMA. The AmaKaterina sounds FABULOUS......!!!

 

And, I thought that the price difference from Viking would be a lot, but, for this cruise versus a Viking cruise the same time in a comparable cabin is a little bit less. So, I picked AMA. Plus, the modernized ship is GREAT....!!! This will be the ships 2nd cruise.....!!!

 

(Nothing like woking the bugs out......... )

 

I hope that more Cruise Critic's join this cruise......!!!
