NOS and St. Croix???

I read somewhere (can't remember...a while ago) that some RCCL ships (including NOS) were making an evening stop at St. Croix. I believe it was something about refueling? I haven't seen anything about this since and was wondering if anyone knows anything about it? Does NOS stop at St. Croix and if so, are guests allowed to depart for a while? TIA!
