Anyone been to Carlos N Charlie's Beach Club lately?

Hi everyone! I'm finding limited info about Carlos N Charlie's beach club in Coz.

 

Anyone been here?

 

Is it a sandy beach or rocky?

 

How's the food and drinks?

 

Can you post any pictures you have of this beach?

 

Would you go back?

Has anyone done this 2 hour open bar excursion that they offer? Says you book it through them and not the cruise ship. How far is it from the port? Sounds like it would be a fun day to lay on the beach and have 2hours worth of drinks !!

You'd be passed out if you drank $50.00 worth. Drinks were only $5.00 or so apiece so it's not worth it. There are other places where you can pay $50.00 and eat and drink for the day. You're better off paying as you go at C&C. It was a nice sandy beach and we'd go again.

Thanks for the tip..I thought about doing this but I think were going to Playa Uvas or Playa Dzul (Money Bar club)...cheaper and prices include snorkeling too.

So can you go there and use the beach if you do not do the open bar and lunch inclusive price? Can you just rent a chair for the day?

We went to C&C last Oct. This is the first I've heard of this all you can drink thing. It was just buy what you want. We didn't have to pay anything for chairs.
