San Pedro Question

Have read a lot about some RCL cruisers not being allowed to bring water on board. Has anyone had any recent (last couple of months) experience at San Pedro pier with bringing water/non-alcoholic drinks in carry on luggage?

Just off the Mariner last Sunday. When checking in, I saw cases of water with luggage tags. My mom also brought on a 12 pack of water. No problems.

We just got back on Sunday, like you I was afraid to pack a case of water, but when we arrived at San Pedro, we saw a few families just hand the case over to the porter. Don't know if it made it to the room.

 

We did packed a few bottles of water inside our suitcase and it was fine.

I got back on Sunday too.. I took a CASE of water and a few liters of coke, no problem (in luggage). Friend did the same thing, no problem. I saw people CARRYING them on, to checkin, no problem.

the risk isn't that great - try bringing a case, if it doesn't make it (for some reason) then you're out $3 or $4

I put my water and a few sodas in a carry on luggage bag all by itself with a name tag and check it in at the terminal.

Never been a problem.
