*Jen* Posted August 31, 2010 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2010 I'm putting together my notes for our Tunis stop next week...and I can't find a good map online. I'm looking for something that has major streets on it, along with things like Carthage and the cruise terminal already labeled. We'll be taking a taxi from the terminal to Carthage and Sidi Bou Said, so if there are detailed maps of those, that would be fabulous too. Thanks so much! rsquare Posted September 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2010 Best maps of Tunis and the Carthage-Sidi Bou Said area to the north are in The Blue Guide to Tunisia, which your local library is likely to have. They have a map of the city, as well as a map of the souk. You could copy the maps and carry them with you (the book itself is pretty large, and covers the whole country). I haven't found anything better. Google can be helpful, but is not always accurate and (for example in Cairo) often shows street names in local alphabets rather than using a Latin alphabet transliteration.
