igo2travel Posted September 3, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2010 I have very limited information on this, as in "Take a ferry from French Cul de Sac. Good for snorkeling." So will we be able to access French Cul de Sac very easily off of Carnival Victory and have enough time to spend on the beach area? What facilities are available there? Will they be running/open on Christmas Day? Any information anyone can give will help in my planning. Thanks.

I am not sure if the ferry will be running on Christmas Day but you may also have difficulty getting a cab back since I would think that there will be less on the road and getting one back from the Cul de Sac area can be difficult on a regular working day so you should keep that in mind as well. mdrobtx Posted September 6, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2010 There are 2 or 3 restaurants/beach bars. Don't know about cabs and Xmas day. We drove to the ferry dock. We didn't find any good snorkeling there. Supposedly as your looking back at SXM, the good snorkeling is supposed to be to your left?? Here's their website. http://www.visitpinel.com/
