itslin561 Posted September 4, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2010 I was ahead slightly until Thursday night, after that I didn't win and didn't see anyone else cashing out. Best to play the beginning of the cruise and skip the last 2 days !
k9sar Posted September 5, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2010 My mother was playing penny slots and won something like $60. does that count?

Best to play the beginning of the cruise and skip the last 2 days ! That seems to be the scenario in casinos on cruises... in the beginning you hear all kind of bells rining, people yahooing, and by the end everyone is pissed off because they lost lol I know all too well I have waken up to find my DH in the casino looking not too happy by the end of trips.
Mysschevous Posted September 5, 2010 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2010 On our sailing, there was a gentleman who claimed he won $180,000 that week on high limit slots. I don't know if it is true or not, but he gave the lady at the desk a $100 tip for printing out his statement. He also said that NCL comped his cruise. sjbdtz Posted September 5, 2010 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2010 $180,000? Really? Someone won $12k on the slots on the first day of the TA....the LED chandelier started flashing all of the different colours of the LEDs.
Rare mitsugirly Posted September 5, 2010 #7 Share Posted September 5, 2010 This sounds promising. I've always won, fairly decent, money (to me at least) on every cruise I've been on (and even on land). I hope my winning streak will continue on the cruise. I've never walked away with less money than I started with. I'll have to remember to play in the beginning of the cruise and resist temptation toward the end. :p

Rare mitsugirly Posted September 6, 2010 #9 Share Posted September 6, 2010 Good for you!!! What do you play? My favorite is Hot Shots (which I'm told our ship-the Epic, doesn't have :() I usually stick to the .05 cent machines and do pretty well. The last cruise I was on years ago I put $1.00 in and walked away with $500.

luv4cruisin Posted September 7, 2010 #13 Share Posted September 7, 2010 Try the Knight machine on deck 6- right hand side when leaving O'shehanns. Put in $5, left with $75 :)
