clackey Posted September 6, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2010 Has anyone been to either of these beaches recently? How is the snorkeling? Thanks!!! We went to Cemetery last December. Took a public van for a couple $ @. The beach had a few trees for shade and about 30 people there. There are no amenities. The snorkeling wasn't as good as I had hoped. There are a few spots with fish but they were a long way from the beach. We had a nice lazy day but when we go back we will take the Rays, Reef, and Rum Point Tour thru Nativeway or a similar tour thru Capt. Marvin. drk Posted March 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted March 9, 2011 We went to Smiths Cove in November '10 and it was much nicer/cleaner than the last time we were there. Beautiful little swimming hole with many locals. There were rudimentary restrooms but no other services.
curacaoqueen Posted March 9, 2011 #5 Share Posted March 9, 2011 We were at Smiths Cove in Jan. and the snorkling was cloudy, but it's a really nice little beach.
