Atlantis Aquadventure and Dolphin Shallow Water Excursion - Time Question

We booked the Aquadventure and Dolphin Shallow Water Excursion through our cruiseline. We get into port at 8am, the time for the excursion says 9am. Does anyone know how we know what time the Dolphin Shallow Water adventure starts? I know that they have times throughout the day, if you sign up directly through Atlantis, but I am wondering when our time would be. Would it be 9am, or would it be later? Any one have any experience with this? We are cruising on RCI.

The start time for the excursion through the cruise line generally is the time you will the leave the pier to head to the actual excursion.

 

If you book directly through Atlantis, there are various start times available.

 

We just came back from the Trainer for a Day at the Dolphin Cay. I believe our ship docked around 8 am, maybe 9. We did not book through the cruiseline (not offered) so our 10 am start time was our actual start time at Atlantis. We had no problem getting there on time (took a cab) and even arrived early, despite the traffic. We saw groups starting around 9:30-9:45am and several after that.
