Other than Excursions, What to do?

If you weren't going to do an excursion, what would you recommend doing in Roatan? We will be traveling with two teenagers; one boy & one girl.

What ship are you on? Do you know where you are docking? If you are on a Carnival Corp ship like Carnival (obviously), Princess, HAL you will dock in Mahogany Bay and wouldn't need to do an excursion if you really don't want to. There is a beach area there with water sports and your teens might like that - plus food, etc. Or, you could take a taxi to one of the other beachs in Roatan. Personally, I wouldn't choose to stay in the pier area as this is such a beautiful island but, with teenagers, they may not find sightseeing beautiful lookout points, etc as great as we did when we were there.

We will be aboard the Carnival Triumph but I'm not sure where we will be docking.

Unless weather conditions make it unsafe you will dock at Mahogany Bay. There's a beach there, restaurants, some shopping etc.

If you dock at Mahogany Bay, Clip N Zip ziplining is just across the road from the tourist center. We did this with teenagers in August and they loved it. We made a reservation in advance, but no money down was required.
