Hampton Inn - Plantation Pre Cruise

I am thinking about booking this hotel for a 1 night stay pre cruise. I know this hotel is a little further out than most of the hotels suggested on this board. Any issues with the shuttle? Just need a clean place to sleep, and some place walkable to grab dinner. Pros or cons please.

Plantation is a bedroom community outside of Ft. Lauderdale. You're actually not that far away from the port, just a quick jaunt down 595.

Plenty of chain restaurants in the area. Red Lobster, Boston Market. Also, you might want to see if you can get a ride to Padrinos for some really decent Cuban food.

Hi Corky we stayed in this hotel prior to a smooth jazz cruise on Holland America. We did have a car and ended up eating supper at one of the restaurants over at saw grass mill outlet mall But the hotel worked out great, it was very clean, neat and folks running it were very personable. But that was just about a year ago however we did stay there

Regards

Pete
