Cozumel or Nassau?

HI ... looking to pick a cruise and one travel to Cozumel and Key West and the other just goes to Nassau for a day.

Never been to Nassau.

We've been to Cozumel and loved it...and actually lived in Key West but haven't been back in FOREVER.

What are your thoughts? Nassau or Coz?

Thanks!

That's the choice we had to make too....we chose Cozumel as we've never been there and we've both been to Nassau before...I really like Nassau though, so I would go there just to try somewhere new.

Coz and KW! Hands down, no question! Unless you're in Nassau long enough to really take advantage of Atlantis ( and the expense) or a longer snorkeling excursion or just dying for a Kalik and conch fritter from a Potter Cay lolo or or the PoopDeck in Yacht Haven, not a lot to do.

Coz has as good of beaches, better food (if you get past the tourist traps), better beer (look for Victoria, Leon, or Montengera) better scenery (take a taxi to the East side or do the Bar Hop tour) and better shopping in the town. KW has changed a bit over the years, more erzatz Conch Republic than real but still a great place to walk around . Schooner Wharf Bar for good music. El sibouney's or 5 Brothers for Cuban. Blonde Giraffe or Kermits for key lime pie. And of course the chickens and Hemingway's "damn" cats.
