learningtocruise Posted February 15, 2005 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2005 We will be leaving Boston on September 25 for the New England/Canada cruise. I would like to avoid as many RCCL excursions as possible, but still be able to see all the "must see" places. Biggest issue is what all to see in Quebec -- we're there all day Saturday/Saturday night/and then our flight is not a morning flight out. What about Peggy's Cove? Best lobster places? Historical museums (like Titanic), but not art museums or churches (saw lots in France & Belgium).
Globaliser Posted February 15, 2005 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2005 Hi, learningtocruise, and welcome to CC! To help you find your way around, can I suggest that you have a look at four forums. First, have a look on the RCI roll call forum - use the search function to see if there's an active roll call thread for your cruise. It's always better to join an existing roll call if there is one, as that's where your fellow cruisers' attention will be directed. Otherwise you'd be relying on someone happening to notice your new thread when they're really looking elsewhere. You might also want to stop in on the main RCI forum which will have a lot of general information about the cruise line. There are also two relevant ports of call forums - the Canada forum and the New England forum. These will have discussions about the ports themselves and what you can do there.
