lvcruiser Posted September 13, 2010 #8 Share Posted September 13, 2010 I thing Hurricane Igor should hit on Halloween:D No Derf. You're thinking of Cousin It. Igor is now at 150 mph and expected to become a Cat 5 storm, but hopefully will not affect any of the islands. And Julia has now formed off the coast of Africa. They weren't kidding when they said this would be an active hurricane season. More often than not during the past month, they have been lined up like cars in a traffic jam on an interstate. The more that form, the greater chance we have of one staying south long enough to hit Florida. I'm glad the new house we bought has hurricane shutters. BTW - this is why I planned my next cruise in December instead of September.
