Your choice is basically between bus, (cheap and slow) or train faster and more expensive.

At their London terminus you then need to get the London Underground to Kensington.

The buses run 24 x 7 and run about every 15 - 30 minutes from in front of the terminal at Luton. Its an unusual service in that 2 companies run it and 3 companies sell tickets, all at different prices.

If you can, cheapest option is to go online at easyBus and order tickets from them

from 2 GBP, most expensive is purchasing on day when prices are about 5 times that.

The bus terminates at Victoria where you get the District Line of the Underground which runs through 4 or 5 stations in Kensington.

There is no train station at Luton but a shuttle runs to the nearest train station at the bottom of the hill from the terminal. Get off the train at St Pancras in London then get the Piccadilly Line Underground to Kensington.

The rail line option runs through the estaern side of Central London, Kensington is to the west so its a longer Underground connection journey by rail than from Victoria which is next to Kensington.

Train company is First Capital Connect who have their own web site.
