shipty2 Posted September 13, 2010 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2010 I know they use key cards and I am wondering if it is possible to get another key. DH and DS will be in another cabin but I would like to have a key to it as well. Is it possible?
PopFla Posted September 13, 2010 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2010 I would imagine it's possible. We recently stayed at WDW with family in two suites, and all of our cardkeys were programmed to open both doors. I believe the ships use the same technology as the resorts; at least, the cards and door locks appear to be identical.
chipmaster Posted September 13, 2010 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2010 At least on Carnival and Princess we never had a problem getting extra keys to all the other rooms booked togather. I know they use key cards and I am wondering if it is possible to get another key. DH and DS will be in another cabin but I would like to have a key to it as well. Is it possible? jelbnl Posted September 13, 2010 #4 Share Posted September 13, 2010 Just go to Guest Services after boarding and they'll issue you another key for the other room. DCL does not code keys to open more than one room, so you'll have to get another one issued.
