Here is an email I received from one of the local establishments.

Dollars are still okay. 10 to 1 is the rate here no matter the bank rates. All our stuff will be priced in US dollars though and most everyone that I'm aware of are the same. New bank regs are making it different and so the fees make it so that we can still do dollars, but at a slightly lower rate than the bank rate, 10 to 1. Your dollars will be welcome everywhere.
