Christmas on board

Does anyone Know when they decorate the ships for Christmas? We sail on the Inspiration Nov. 29th. Thats the first cruise after Thanksgiving. I think I remember from a previous cruise that they were decorating as we got off but I'm not sure. Anyone have the info?

I can't tell you exactly, but I can help narrow it down (somewhat - lol).

 

I was on the Elation last year on the 12/14 sailing and the decorations were up at that time.

I was on a Thanksgiving cruise and as we pulled into port they were pulling out boxes of decorations and starting to put them up as we left the ship.

They usually start decorating the cruise following Thanksgiving and it stays up thru the cruise that has New Years in it. This will be my 5th New Years cruise and it is THE BEST time to cruise IMO. :p

I will be going Jan 2, will the decorations still be up?

We cruise on the Elation leaving Dec. 18 and the decorations are one of the things we are looking forward to seeing. My DW and I are taking two of our DD's on their first cruise so that should really add to the experience for them.

Of the cruise starts on the 2nd they will start taking them down the 1st late at night and probably finish on the 2nd..

We were on the Glory in December and the whole place was decorated, clear down to the camels wearing Santa hats in the casino. We even got to have our picture taken with Christmas backgrounds. We loved the decorations!!

My husband and I usually do our annual cruises the 2nd week of November and the ships we've been on are always decorated for X-mas. There is a christmas tree in the main lobby and some garland covering the main stairs. I have never seen any other places on the ship decorated other than the lobby, so I am not sure if more decorations are added the closer it gets to Christmas.
